Human review

Delivered standalone Goals appear in Awaiting review with the project, request, providers, changed files, test evidence, review output and secret-scan result.

  • Approve for merge marks an open draft PR ready with gh pr ready. Maestro does not merge a standalone PR from this decision.
  • Request changes returns the PR to draft and reopens the same Goal with your justification in the next implementation context.
  • Reject closes the PR and records the task as rejected.

A non-empty justification is required. Sensitive values and private local paths are rejected before the decision is persisted. Decisions create audit events and can trigger Telegram notifications.

While the Dashboard is active, Maestro polls review candidates. A PR merged outside the Dashboard marks the task completed; a PR closed outside it is reconciled as rejected. If GitHub is unavailable, the queue remains local and the reconciliation can be retried later.

For a Feature Plan, individual Work PRs stay draft as evidence. The consolidated Feature PR follows its own checks and final-review gate before a governed merge is possible.
